LAKE PLACID COUNTRY FAIR
1ST FULL WEEKEND IN FEBRUARY
The Lake Placid Country Fair is held annually on the first full weekend in February, on Saturday and Sunday. There are over 200 arts and crafts booths, plenty of food and continuous entertainment. The two-day event draws thousands of visitors, and has become one of the largest in the state.
Take a shuttle van to the cafeteria of the Lake Placid Elementary School, where the best of Highlands County's artists and crafters present their work to be judged. Vote for the people's choice award.
The Lake Placid Country Fair is immortalized in one of our largest murals, 108' wide x 18' high, at the crossroads of town, Interlake Blvd., and Main Avenue. This mural is just a few feet from the site of the first country fair. For information call 863-465-4331, email info@lpfla.com or visit www.visitlakeplacidflorida.com.
